| To the best of my knowledge all bottle caps are manufactured with a plastic liner / oxygen seal inside of the cap. This can be removed by heating the cap up with an embossing gun / heat tool (for about 20 seconds) or in a toaster oven until the liner starts to warp, then pulling it off with pliers. |

| Lg. silverplated jump rings. The 6mm "closed ring" (no gap) is great for soldering, or for use as a center ring between regular jump rings. The 7mm jump ring has a standard gap in the metal, allowing you to bend it open and slide your pendant/charm/earring on to it for hanging. |

| Solder and soldering irons are easily found at your local hardware store. I recommend lead-free solder and brush-on flux for your jewelry projects. |
| How to make jewelry with paper and glass: 1) Apply a generous layer of clear glue (I used Glossy Accents) to the flat side of your glass piece. Lay it gently down onto your paper artwork (scrapbooking paper, rubber stamp art, prints, drawings etc.) Allow to dry. 2) Cut around the edges of your artwork. Use a file to sand down any areas that are too close to the edge to cut with scissors. 3) Hanging options: You could glue it into a pendant blank/bezel/bottlecap. You could wrap the edges with copper tape and solder around it. You could seal the back of the paper and just glue a pendant bail on it for hanging. |
