What is an Angel Company?

The term "Angel Company" is usually used in rubber stamping to distinguish which companies allow you to sell artwork created with
their products. This term can apply to stamps, molds, clip art and other graphic design resource businesses. It grants you a limited
license to make things using our images.

The Enchanted Gallery, run by the artist Kimberly Crick, understands the needs of the independent crafter to be able to sell their work
without heavy restrictions. The images are still copyrighted, but use of them is allowed when you follow certain terms.

The Angel Company terms are:
Allowed:
1. You may sell
handmade crafts using an image that the company owns or sells.
The project pictures above are examples of crafts created with my products. This means that you may create artwork for sale using my
molds or rubber stamps
. Such as clay cabs, jewelry, rubber stamped cards and other hand crafted items. These finished crafts you can
sell freely, including in places such as online
ebay / etsy stores or craft fairs.

Not Allowed:
2. The following uses of the images are prohibited: Creating new molds / rubber stamps from the original, and/or mechanical
reproductions (like photocopying/commercial/product design.)
For example, it is against copyright law to duplicate the product you're using. Such as using a rubber stamped image to create a new
rubber stamp.
Molds: Once you make a cast (the clay/other material you pushed into my mold) you can sell that cast. You can sell it plain, painted,
made into jewelry, art doll faces, or other crafty projects.
Using my molds, you can sell anything handmade except for new molds.

For example, it would be illegal to reproduce my designs by making new molds from a clay cab you made from my mold. (A mold made
from a cast, to copy my design.)
*The basic meaning is that I sell the craft supplies, you can make a finished product out of it.*

Save money by making beautiful handmade gifts for friends & family and/or make money from home by selling art and crafts: Since
you can sell the artwork you make using my craft supplies, it's easy to make your money back on your supplies with your very first sale.
Making jewelry, soap or art dolls is a great way to make extra cash at home. Try sites like www.etsy.com or www.ebay.com to start
earning some extra money as a hobby or part time job. Good luck and have fun!

PS.

Many companies don't allow crafters to use their images in anything that will be sold (for personal projects only,) so be sure to check
with each company you shop with.
Sometimes Angel Companies have other requirements, such as crediting the company somewhere on the craft work. This is
recommended when you are publishing your craft project, such as magazine submissions. Most places will even reward you for it with
free goodies when you help get their name/website out there.
